En cette période de pandémie, le « respect et silence », selon les mots de Bernard Seynhaeve, se sont imposés et ils ont conduit à l’annulation du Congrès de Gand sur l’interprétation. 24 « cartels vers le congrès », déclarés à la NLS, étaient alors au travail sur ce thème. Cette perte ne sera pas comblée, même si quelques produits de cartels nous ont été adressés que nous sommes heureux de partager avec vous dans ce numéro.
Anguel Anguelov (Sofia) témoigne que la lecture en cartel d’un séminaire de Lacan a eu « un effet libérateur » sur sa pratique et l’a amené à questionner « Comment peut-on interpréter les dessins d’enfants » ?
Alan Rowan (Berlin), dans son texte “L’interprétation au-delà du sens » évoque le parcours d’une analyse qui, menée à son terme, « met en question la nature de semblant du sens » et « permet à l’inconscient réel d’émerger ».
Violaine Clément (Fribourg) nous éclaire sur les étymologies du mot « inter- préter », qui est en particulier lié à la figure d’Hermès, le maître des arts, des nombres et des signes.
Le confinement a aussi été l’occasion de la création de cartels pour travailler sur les effets et conséquences de cette situation inédite et imprévisible. Ainsi, Elisabeth Müllner interroge «la différence entre standards et principes»après avoir été confrontée à l’interruption de ses séances d’analyse corps présent et à la mise en place de rendez-vous téléphoniques. »
Enfin, Sarah Birgani (Vienne) nous interpelle sur l’importance de continuer à parler de la Shoah – un signifiant qui reste vivant et continue à produire des effets.

In this time of pandemic, “respect and silence”, in Bernard Seynhaeve’s words, prevailed and led to the cancellation of the NLS Congress in Ghent on Interpretation. 24 “cartels towards the congress” that had been declared to the NLS then began work on this theme. Although we cannot make up for the loss, we did receive some cartel products that we are happy to share with you in this issue.
Anguel Anguelov (Sofia) testifies that reading a Lacan seminar in a cartel had “a liberating effect” on his practice and led him to question “How can we inter- pret children’s drawings?”
Alan Rowan (Berlin), in his text “Interpretation Beyond Meaning” evokes the course of an analysis which, when completed “questions the semblant nature of meaning itself” and “allows the real unconscious to emerge”.
Violaine Clément (Friburg) sheds light on the etymologies of the word “inter- pret”, which is particularly related to the figure of Hermes, the master of the arts, numbers and signs.
Confinement was also the moment for the creation of cartels working on the effects and consequences of this unprecedented and unforeseeable situation. This was an opportunity for Elisabeth Müllner (Vienna) to question “the difference between standards and principles” when she was confronted with the interruption of her analytic sessions “in the flesh” and the setting up of telephone meetings.
Last but not least, Sarah Birgani (Vienna) tells us why it is still relevant to talk about the Shoah nowadays – a signifier which remains alive and continues to produce effects.
